With over 20 years of experience in executive roles within the fintech and payments industry, Kamran has established companies throughout the payment value chain in Europe, North, and South America.
Kamran’s passion for payments started in 1995 at Europay and developed further when he joined BWIN. Here he shaped the company’s payment strategy and helped it gain over 20m customers and grow in 27 countries. Next, Kamran founded CQR/Kalixa payment group by establishing three companies: CQR Payment Solutions (gateway), CQR UK (acquiring) and Vincento (issuing).
Today, Kamran is the Group CEO of PXP, where he spearheaded expansion into the United States, demonstrating his leadership and strategic vision in the industry, and is responsible for the new strategic direction of the PXP business.
His career has consistently centered around fostering innovation, propelling growth, and crafting exceptional customer experiences.

Volker is a Director in EDC’s London office and is responsible for the Merchant Acquiring / Payment Acceptance practice of EDC. Volker is working as an advisor in the payments industry for over 20 years mainly in Europe and the Middle East. He has advised many industry players on strategy development, operational models and benchmarking as well as financial analysis. Volker has also worked on many commercial due diligence engagements for strategic and financial investors and has supported sellers in preparing documentation needed for IPOs or investor presentations. In his spare time, Volker is trying to reduce his golfing handicap (so far unsuccessfully).
