James Neville is the CEO and co-founder of award-winning open banking payment platform Yaspa. Founded in 2017, it was one of the first companies licensed to provide payments and identity services using open banking, and now simplifies the way consumers and businesses pay in multiple industries across the UK and Europe.
Prior to founding Yaspa (formerly Citizen), James held leadership positions in a wide range of leading brands, including Just-Eat, Ascential, Babcock & Brown and Sportingbet. In 2015, while CTO at Worldpay, he launched their next-generation online payment platform amidst major legislative changes from GDPR and SCA to the EU’s PSD2.
Today James combines his decades of fintech experience with his long-standing interest in design to provide a laser focus on Yaspa’s user experience - ensuring Yaspa transcends the job of systems integrations and APIs to become a full-service, payments-first solution that is easy to adopt and a delight to use.

Mark works with leading global merchants, and payment suppliers to retailers, to develop omnichannel acceptance strategies. He uses the 360° Payment Diagnostic methodology developed by EDC to identify cost efficiencies and new growth opportunities for retailers by defining an appropriate mix of payment methods, acceptance channels, innovative consumer touchpoints, and optimizing Payment Service Providers and acquiring relationships. Outside the payments and fintech industry Mark is a passionate snowboarder.
