The first annual UK France Data Summit took place in the UK on 23rd February 2017. George Osborne (ex-UK Financial Minister) and Emmanuel Macron (ex-French Economy Minister) announced the creation of a new joint UK France Data Task Force in July 2015. The objectives of the Task Force included to support the digital sector and enhance UK-France cooperation on open data UK France Taskforce on Data Innovation was commissioned to produce a report, published in November 2016, on the data economy and the opportunities for collaboration between the two countries. Below is a short presentation, prepared by Edgar, Dunn & Company, on the Summit event itself.
