David Poe, director of Edgar, Dunn & Company will be speaking at 2 events at the NACHA Payments Conference 2010 in Seattle.

One is a presentation titled “Evolving Trends in Card-Based Fraud and Global Best Practices”, and the other is moderation of a panel titled “The Underserved - Payments Usage, Preference & Brand Position.

A leading expert in the payments industry, David is a Director of Edgar, Dunn & Company, and is based in San Francisco.  Since 1980 David has served EDC clients in North America and Europe throughout the payments value chain on strategic issues such as product and portfolio profitability, credit and fraud risk management, market and channel optimization, process improvement, and new product development. He has also provided expert witness testimony for clients in matters involving credit card portfolio valuation and performance. He co-developed the firm’s London office in the early ‘90s and served financial services clients throughout Europe until his return to the US in 1998. While in Europe he became involved in many of the payment industry new product and technology initiatives there, and since his return to the US has been involved in developing and assessing many new payment product initiatives in the North American market including e-commerce payment solutions and mobile payment and prepaid card options.
